Closing the Loop: Circular TwAIn’s Final Review
The Circular TwAIn Consortium has reached an important milestone with the successful completion of its final review meeting, marking the conclusion of a wonderful three-year journey dedicated to advancing a more sustainable and circular manufacturing.
Hosted by the Politecnico di Milano, the final review brought together project Partners, stakeholders and representatives from the European Commission to showcase the project’s outcomes, impacts, and long-term contributions to Europe’s research and innovation goals.
The meeting served as both a finish line and a starting point: Partners presented the key scientific, technological, and societal achievements, demonstrating how Circular TwAIn delivered on its ambitious objectives. Highlights included meticulous presentations of the project’s pilots, a visit to the lab, a detailed walk-through of the Battery Pilot, and an insightful discussion on the exploitation of the project’s most important outcomes.
Representatives from the European Commission commended the Consortium’s work, emphasising its collaboration and contribution to Horizon Europe’s broader goals of promoting innovation and sustainability.
As the project officially concludes, the Consortium looks toward the future. Many of the results are set to live on through follow-up initiatives, commercialisation pathways, and continued collaborations across borders.
Our journey illustrates how EU-funded projects don’t just end – they evolve, leaving a legacy of knowledge, technology, and partnership.
